  Jurisdiction

  Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be referred to the courts of Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, whose jurisdiction both parties accept.

• 4.3

  Severability

  If any clause of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining clauses continue in full force. The unenforceable clause will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid.

• 4.4

  Modification of terms

  Mast Core Lab reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The updated date above indicates when the most recent revision was made. Continued use of the website after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

  Japan Act on Protection of Personal Information (APPI)

  Mast Corelab operates in compliance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (個人情報の保護に関する法律), as amended in April 2022. As an entity providing business consulting services from our office at 〒520-0044 Shiga, Otsu-shi, Kyomachi 3-1-18, we are classified as a personal information handling business operator under the Act.

  When you submit a request through our contact form or arrange consulting engagements, we process only the categories of data described in this policy. We do not transfer personal information to third parties without your prior consent except where required by Japanese law, where necessary for the protection of human life, health or property, or where cooperating with national or local government authorities carrying out affairs prescribed by law.

  Under the APPI, you have the right to request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, cessation of use, or cessation of provision to third parties of your retained personal data.
